Secret Invasion is coming to the Disney + streaming platform: the new Marvel TV series will feature Samuel L. Jackson and Ben Mendelson, in the respective roles of Nick Fury and Talos. Already seen in Captain Marvel, the Skrulls are an alien race of shape-shifters who will infiltrate the highest ranks of the American and world government throughout the series.

A first synopsis of the series seems to herald a very exciting crossover with other stories told by Marvel over the past few years. It will be the official description that will definitively set the trend of the show: "the crossover event series will follow a faction of Skrulls infiltrate the ranks of the American government".

Secret Invasion does not yet have an official release date

The fighter in question, who has the face of Samuel L. Jackson, looks like he will be in-depth at a background level. In a recent round table for The Hollywood Reporter, the same star said that in Secret Invasion we will finally discover some element of the private life of his superhero alter ego, given that, until now, we had only discovered a few pieces of the character's past in Captain Marvel.

Well, I can have a whole life like Nick Fury who isn't Nick Fury at work. You can come home with me and see what happens to me at home or when I'm alone or when I'm not that strong or when I take off a back brace because Nick Fury is old. Things you can do you normally can't do because the character has to present this type of face when it's happening and that's what movies are for and when you can do it in a long-form you can show that superheroes have their bad moments too.

Secret Invasion is conceived by Kyle Bradstreet with the executive production of Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Brad Winderbaum and Kyle Bradstreet and an exceptional cast also composed of Ben Mendelsohn who embodies Talos, Cobie Smoulders who lends the face of Maria Hill, Martin Freeman who plays Everett K. Ross, Olivia Colman, Emilia Clarke, Killian Scott, Kingsley Ben-Adir and many more. The work does not yet have an official release date.
