Avatar- The Way of Water is one of the most awaited and discussed films of 2022: its imminent release closes a real narrative and record cycle that began in 2010. The first film shot by James Cameron in 3D, in fact, has literally revolutionized cinema and the fantasy genre, bringing the audience directly into the action.

In a lovely interview with Jimmy Fallon, which aired last night, the leading actress Zoe Saldana talked about how this film moved in her after the first viewing. The emotions, says the star, were really many and very strong. In fact, she could not hold back the tears during the film's first screening.

After all, Avatar was also a creature of hers and her leading role changed the history of cinematic heroines forever. Saldana's words have certainly added fuel to the fire of fans who can't wait to be able to watch the colossal costing billions of dollars in theaters.

The words of Saldana interviewed by Jimmy Fallon were: “I'm still processing, she is very exciting. I'm surprised my eyelashes stayed. I was like sobbing. So it's really special and I can give you a little hint: it's about water!”.

Director Guillermo Del Toro also reacted enthusiastically to the film. Through a post on Twitter, free of spoilers or too candid revelations about the film's content, del Toro communicates all his enthusiasm for Cameron's amazing work, placing a particularly emotional emphasis on the film's ability to make its viewers dream.

“A stunning result. Avatar: The Way of Water is packed with awe-inspiring sights and thrills on an epic scale. A master at the apex of his powers… ”, we see written in the post.

In short, the film is visionary and wonderful, as Del Toro says without using too many euphemisms. Avatar: The Way of Water is expected in cinemas starting from December 16th. Will it be able to beat its predecessor in box office and fame? It's very close to finding out!
